Goal

This position mixes the audio for the congregation.

Wednesday Responsibilities

• Help instrumentalists get connected on stage.

• Tweak audio during rehearsal.

• Record Rehearsal in Tracks Live

Pre Rehearsal Prep -Sunday

• Check mic batteries.

• Check batteries and perform mic check on pastor's mic and backup pastor's mic.

• Prep announcer mic (mic 5) by placing it next to the stage right front fill.

• Coordinate with Graphics operator to set levels for any video and audio cues.

• Be aware of all audio cues and transitions during services.

Pre Service

• Start the Preservice Playlist on Spotify

• Crossfade Spotify and Pads when there are 5 seconds left on the countdown. Make sure there is not a silent moment during this time.

Service

• Mix audio for service. (Audio Feedback Guidelines)

• Stay alert and execute all audio cues.

• Mute FX when worship team members are speaking.

• *** Mute pastor’s mic when he is done preaching. ***

Post Service

• Play Post-Service Playlist

• After 5 minutes, switch back to Pre-Service Playlist

• Communicate any needed adjustments to the proper personnel.

Post Service - End of Day

• Put all mics away and turn them off.

• Shutdown sound system.
