Goal

To provide timely graphic elements (ex: lyrics, sermon slides, videos) on the screen to help the members of the congregation to engage in the service.

Wednesday Responsibilities

• Run lyrics for rehearsal.

• Make sure each song is set to the proper arrangement.

• Fix any slide formatting/grammatical/arrangement errors.

Preservice

• Run lyrics for rehearsal.

• Load announcement/sermon slides.

• Test any videos and set audio level.

• Double check Stage Display Template presets.

• When rehearsal is over, run the announcement slides.

• Start 5-minute timer 5 minutes before each service.

*If you accidentally start the timer late, shorten it so it stops around the service start time. Know that once the timer starts, the band and AV team will rely on that time as the start of service time.

During service

• Run lyric slides during worship.

• Announcements

  • During on-stage announcements, find the appropriate slide in the announcement slide folder.

  • If the slide is not in the announcement folder, as the Room Producer to find it.

• Sermon

  • Run sermon slides.

Post service

• Run the announcement slides.

• Restart the Mac Pro as soon as the first service is over.

• After the last service, wait until the room is empty before turning off projectors and computer.

Know how to:

• Adjust the volume output of videos.

• Set bumper videos to stop at the end.

• Pull in media from Hot Folders.

• Switch the Stage Display layout, both manually and with a cue.

• Adjust song flow and song sequences.

• Set the announcement slides to loop.

• Start the countdown.

• Display a child’s warning number.

• Display messages on the back screen.

• Set Stage Display and Program outputs in ProPresenter Settings.
